Nike+GPS iPhone App

Reflection:

Nike+GPS is an app that I have purchased for my iPhone. This application is a must have for everyone who has a passion for running. Some of it's features include mapping your runs, tracking your time and progress, mid-run motivations and includes different challenges like Nike+ Tag. You can create your own run by choosing a set time or distance. Also one of my favorite feature is that you can view your run on a Google map and check out the mile markers and pace. I use this App daily because I am training for The Warrior Dash up Windham Mountain in Windham New York in August! This artifact meets Standard 2 because it shows me maintaining a health enhancing level of fitness through using the Nike+GPS program. This program has helped me develop as a future educator because I am able to understand, use and show how to maintain a healthy, fit and active lifestyle by using a fitness program. I also could teach this program to middle school and high school aged students in the future. Below are some pictures of me using
Nike+GPS and also here is a link to the Windham Mountain Warrior Dash course.
My total miles (shows runs, pace, & calories burned).
My 3 mile route around Cortland. It shows my pace.
Personal record for 3 miles!
